Well it has been 8 months..

I cannot believe how much I have completely neglected this blog. I guess that is what happens when you get caught up in yourself and the things you need to do to thrive. If you watch my Vlogs you will know that I has been an interesting 8 months. I had to medically withdraw from most of my classes during the winter term due to a severe stomach infection that left me unable to do much of anything. I became president of my fraternity. I celebrated my 22nd Birthday. I took classes over the summer. The most notable thing in the last few months is the family shake up that I have been dealing with that has really kind of thrown me off course. I wont tell you what happened, but it did make this one of the most difficult and worst summers of my life. I have finally gotten back to happiness and normalcy. I am looking forward to being back at school in 3 weeks. I am looking forward to furthering myself when it comes to knowledge, a career, and possibly a social life. I learned a lot over this summer although it wasn't for happy reason. I learned my strength. I remembered the importance of a faith. I am thankful for my angels. I am thankful for god. I am thankful for most of my family. I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful to have the best dog and cat in the world. I am thankful to call my sister one of my best friends. I am thankful to be in school and have a job. I am thankful for food, water, and shelter. I am thankful to be alive and who I am today. I feel like I was very lucky for some of these things and I worked very hard to obtain the others. I am going to leave you with a couple quotes that have been so important over these last 8 months. I hope they help you as much as they helped me. <3
Promise me you'll always remember: you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, & smarter than you think -Winnie the Pooh
God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, Courage to change the things which should be changed, and the Wisdom to distinguish the one from the other. Living one day at a time, Enjoying one moment at a time, Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace, Taking, as Jesus did, This sinful world as it is, Not as I would have it, Trusting that You will make all things right, If I surrender to Your will, So that I may be reasonably happy in this life, And supremely happy with You forever in the next.

this weekend.

I hate to say this but I learned a lot about myself, other people, and how to do things on my own.
Friday I had to miss work due to an allergy issue and relaxed most of the day.
Saturday night my purse was stolen out of my trunk. Someone must have watched me put it in there. I learned years ago not to leave my purse in the car under a seat because I have had one stolen before. I did nothing wrong and I just had bad luck.
Sunday i had to cancel some checks, cancel an ATM card, and file a police report. I also am dealing with the anger of being victimized again.
With a little help for my parents, I learn how to handle things in a crisis situation. I learned that what little faith I had left in people should not exist. Finally I learned where never to go again. I am still very bitter and hurt by the things I have dealt with the last couple of days. A semi-fun night was completely ruined by someones unfortunate acts and I have to pay more then one price for it.
I really cant explain in words my feelings right now. I want to punch things, cry, scream, and so many other emotions. I dont feel as safe now that my private information is out. My trust levels have honestly never been this low and its infuriating. All of my accounts are on watch. I have to go to the Social Securities office later today. I have to figure out how I am going to get replacement medication that was also stolen. Its just very frusterating.

I know this post is all over the place but I cant organize whats going on in my head let alone in this blog. Hopefully you understand what I am trying to say.

Best Albums Ever. pt 1

So I guess since I just stopped posting on my Taylor swift explains my life experiment, i just decided to give up on it. No real reason. So I was sitting her looking at Itunes and saw that there was a 10th anniversary "Songs in A minor" by Alicia Keys album. I then started thing about the best albums of all time seeing is that one is on the list. I am going to name a few today and then hopefully over time I can think about more.

Songs In A Minor, Alicia Keys- so many great songs including the grammy winning fallin'. This whole album won 5 grammys and is a classic.

Tell All Your Friends, Taking Back Sunday- There aren't many albums that I can listen to constantly and never get sick of. I love every song on this album and it has a couple of my favorite songs of all time on it. Fantastic.

Born To Run, Bruce Springsteen- Shouldn't have to explain this one. self explanatory.

Dizzy Up The Girl, Goo Goo Dolls- This album introduced me to this band which has easily become on of my favorites. Ive seen them in concert 4 times and I just love the emotion of this album.

The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill, Lauryn Hill- Self explanatory. Perfect.

Chroma, Cartel- this band has been one of my favorites for a long time. 2 years after falling in love with this band this album was finally respected by the music community and they got a strange show on MTV for it. Great songs that just blend together flawlessly like a story.

I'm sure I will think of more. Make sure to check these ones out if you haven't already!
